Silo Name Cache Server Configuration

One of the options for Island name to Island location resolution is to store the cache data in a Silo. Silo is a key-value store web service written by Zero Linden and made freeely available under the MIT License.  By default Open Cobalt comes configured to use a public silo at (and we recommend using it) however it is possible to reconfigure to use your own.

The Silo installation package with installation direction can be downloaded here.

Once you have a Silo working somewhere, you will need to change the cobalt-browser.conf file for the installations that you want to have use the Silo.
